Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between JET Reports and JET Analytics?
JET Reports connects Excel directly to live D365 data for individual reports. JET Analytics builds a data warehouse layer for larger-scale, cross-module analytics and Power BI dashboards. Most companies start with JET Reports and add JET Analytics as reporting needs grow.
Do I need Power BI to use JET Analytics?
No. JET Analytics can feed Excel-based reports on its own, but it's built to also connect cleanly into Power BI for dashboard-style reporting when you need it.
Which training path should I start with?
JR100 (Fundamentals) is the starting point for everyone. From there, JR200 or JR300 depending on whether your focus is Finance or Supply Chain; see Training.
Where do I find existing report templates?
The Document Library is searchable by module and version.
